The Cloud

The Cloud is an events centre that was constructed and used extensively for the 2011 rugby world cup. The Cloud is now used to host a variety of events. It is located on a prime piece of real estate on Auckland's waterfront. The piece of land on which it sits has been in the news in the last week, there is a company that intends to develop the area and in the process The Cloud will be demolished.

This is yet another panorama, I am taking quite a liking to this format. My settings have not changed much. It's getting colder now as we approach winter, so shooting even right at sunset means it can be quite chilly, this day was no exception. It was great to have my family come along with me though, we really had a good time at this location.
